The Oculus Quest Pro is an updated version of Meta's virtual reality headset. Hence, they've rebranded their products as Meta Quest 2 instead of Oculus Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro instead of Oculus Quest Pro . Now, aside from the name, what are the differences between these two virtual reality headsets?
There are a number of aesthetic and technological changes that make the Meta Quest Pro worth a look, though the Meta Quest 2 remains a smart buy for those looking to get into virtual reality (VR).

What Meta Quest Pro stands out for
It definitely stands out in many ways, but the difference in sound is brutal, much clearer.
Quest PRO has 6GB more RAM (12GB vs 6GB), which is very important for multitasking.
As for the lenses, we find two different technologies. The Quest Pro uses pancake lenses with a wide range of vision between the eyes, ranging from 55 mm to 75 mm, while the Quest 2 uses Fresnel lenses whose technology doesn't allow for as sharp a vision as we'd like.
The Quest Pro has the best color display with the best dynamic range and the sharpest display. Although the Quest 2 has the best brightness, it must be said.
Another important difference is that the Quest 2 uses 4 black and white cameras, while the Quest Pro has 5 cameras, an additional one that provides color, giving a better augmented reality experience.

How are Meta Quest Pro and Meta Quest 2 similar?
As for battery life, they are relatively equal, although it is true that it will depend a lot on the CPU and GPU you have, that is, the processor and the graphics card.
Both have the same processor, except that the Quest Pro has separate RAM, improving efficiency by 30% and preventing overheating.
As for the controllers, they are very similar, although the Quest Pro's haptic sensors are far superior.
What Meta Quest 2 stands out about

Other details that stand out include its lightness, weighing 219g less than its rival (503g vs 722g), position tracking, the accelerometer, its infrared sensor and the fact that it can be controlled remotely.
