Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is now official

As promised, Xiaomi unveiled its new foldable phone, the Mix Fold 3, on August 14th. It has already been hailed by many critics as the most affordable phone to date, and you can now purchase it in Chile by pre-ordering it from our GSMPRO.CL store.

Mastery in hinge system

Among all its features, the one that has stood out the most has been its hinge system, which boasts of supporting up to 500,000 openings and closings, many more than a cell phone could have during its updated useful life.

Lightweight and flexible materials

Brand spokespersons highlighted the materials used to make the new foldable phone, specifically the composite fiber used on its exterior, which lightens its weight and makes it more resistant to drops and scratches. According to Xiaomi, the composite fiber is 36 times stronger than traditional glass.

Three chips for less energy consumption

As for the chips, Xiaomi has presented the Mix Fold 3 with three chips, two of them focused on the graphics section (which will relieve the workload on the main processor) and a third in charge of the photographic section of the system.

Excellent runtime

As for charging time, the average time reported is 40 minutes with a cable, although the battery can be said to be fully charged after 10 minutes.

Powerful photographic equipment

The camera setup that accompanies the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is loaded with Leica technology, both in its hardware and software. You'll enjoy four sensors, three optically stabilized lenses (the main, telephoto, and telescopic zoom lenses), and a super-wide-angle camera. For selfies, there's also a dual camera, both 20 megapixels.
