We've had quite a bit of buzz regarding WhatsApp's new policies, and once again they're making a move on this issue. The plan was to launch the new measures on May 15th, BUT, despite what was previously stated, the app will allow users to fully operate it even if they don't accept the new rules.
The policies will also be updated, especially since many have already accepted them. What you should keep in mind is that the app will always remind you of these policies until you accept them.
You can safely continue using the app if you were thinking of quitting before, the annoying thing will be the acceptance reminders, but I think we can live with that.
WhatsApp's issue has been quite controversial regarding this issue, and they've even been dragging it out since February of this year, constantly providing new information. The constant claim is that it's due to "security and growth" issues for both them and their users.
